Silverton Brewing Co. LLC, doing business as HighGrain Brewing (“HighGrain,” “we,” “us”), runs this website, www.highgrainbrewing.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Our taprooms, and the other companies we link to for ordering and shopping, have their own practices.

Information you give us

We collect information when you choose to send it to us through a form on this site:

• Newsletter sign-up: your email address and the page you signed up from.
• Wholesale and keg inquiries: your name, business, email, phone number and what you're interested in.
• Giveback night applications: your name, organization, contact details, your organization's tax status and EIN, and the details of your request.
• Email: anything you send when you write to us directly.

We use this information to answer you, to send the newsletter you asked for and to run the programs you applied to. We don't use it for anything else.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some information automatically when you visit:

• Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they view, roughly where they are (city or region), what kind of device and browser they use and how they found us. We also record actions such as tapping “Order online,” a phone number, directions or a ticket link, and sending a form. Google Analytics uses cookies. Google explains how it handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• The Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) records page visits and the same kinds of actions, so we can measure our ads and show HighGrain ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited this site. It uses cookies.
• inKind provides a sign-up window that may appear on our homepage. If you use it, the information you enter goes to inKind and is handled under inKind's privacy policy.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records technical details of each request (such as IP address, browser type and time) to keep the site running and secure.
• Your browser's storage: the site saves small preferences on your own device, such as whether you've closed an announcement. This stays on your device.

We don't use this information to identify you personally.

Ordering, shopping and tickets

Some links take you to other companies' websites, and what you enter there, including payment details, goes to them and not to us through this site. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Online food orders: Toast and DoorDash
• Merchandise: our Shopify store, with orders printed and shipped by Printful
• Event tickets: Eventbrite
• Maps and directions: Google Maps
• Social media: Instagram, Facebook and Untappd

This website never asks for or stores payment card numbers.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run this site and our business, and only as needed for that work:

• Vercel (website hosting)
• Google (Analytics, and the Google Workspace tools where form submissions are stored and emailed)
• Resend (delivers form submissions to our inbox)
• Meta (the Meta Pixel)
• inKind (the sign-up window)

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of HighGrain, our guests or others.

Your choices

• Newsletter: email us and we'll remove you, or use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter we send.
• Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. The site still works without them.
• Google Analytics: Google offers an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Facebook and Instagram ads: you can control ads based on your activity on other websites in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
• Your information: ask us what we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@highgrainbrewing.com.

How long we keep information

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond and to run the related program, and newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of the tools described above.

Security

This site uses encryption (HTTPS) and limits who can access the information you send us. No website can promise perfect security, so please don't send sensitive information such as payment details through our forms or by email.

Age

This website is about beer and is intended for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
